The Terms and Conditions of Sale
Refer to items/goods dispatched to you the buyer and that you the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms and it is presumed that you the buyer understand these terms.
Delivery available to UK mainland addresses only, special rates for overseas delivery are available on request at email@example.com deliveries are made either by insured freight carrier or by Royal Mail post dependant on weight, speed of delivery and dependability of the carrier. We reserve the right to use our own transport if deemed necessary. Goods that are forwarded via freight carrier will require signature, a contact phone number should be provided by you, the buyer. In the event that you are out when the goods arrive, a card will be left with details of how to reschedule your delivery. All goods, packages should be inspected upon delivery for damage/faults. Should damages in transit occur, you should notify the delivery driver immediately upon receipt of the goods. You should notify us within 48 hours of any such damage, preferably in writing via email. Any damaged/faulty goods should be returned to Door Automation Direct within 28 days from receipt. Damaged/faulty goods returned within this timescale will be inspected and tested and if deemed damaged/faulty will be replaced at no cost to you; the buyer. Or a full refund will be given. If items returned are not found to be damaged/faulty we will return them to you and no replacement or refund will be given. Door Automation Direct does not accept any responsibility for strike action or disruption due to unforeseen circumstances.
Normal deliveries take place Monday to Friday by freight carrier; goods dispatched by mail are subject to delivery during normal postal delivery schedules and may include Saturdays. Special/urgent deliveries are available by request and are subject to increased freight charges available upon request via our contact page. Whilst we endeavour to supply goods as speedily as possible, you should allow 5 working days (Mon-Fri) for delivery following dispatch notification. You can check if the goods have been dispatched where the date of dispatch is recorded, by using the login details that were provided when the purchase was made. In the event that the goods have failed to arrive within this timescale, you should notify us immediately if possible; or at the very latest within 48 hours following the 5 working day timescale period has elapsed via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org Door Automation Direct will then provide you with a copy of the receipt/dispatch note which you can use when making any claims for compensation. Door Automation Direct does not accept liability for items lost via Royal Mail post, strike or civil actions or circumstances beyond that of our control following confirmed dispatch. In the event that you consider that your purchased item be deemed to be lost or missing following dispatch notification and the timescales as directed, you should follow Royal Mail guidelines for making a claim. Under certain and unusual circumstances items may be out of stock; you will be notified immediately via email if this is the case and an estimated delivery date will be provided.
Payment and Pricing
All items/goods should be paid for in full before we will undertake to dispatch. Prices are clearly stated on our site are inclusive, no further charges will be added subject to normal terms. Confirmation of your order will be sent via email; it is your responsibility to check the order confirmation upon receipt and notify us immediately (within 24 hours) of any irregularities/differences to your original order. Door Automation Direct does not accept responsibility for changes to your order following dispatch.
Changing Your Mind
Door Automation Direct follows UK Trading Standards (DSR) and abides by these terms. Should you wish to change your mind you should notify us of your intention to return the goods within 7 (seven) days following confirmation of dispatch which can be found by logging into your account using your unique login details provided when you made your purchase. You should notify us either by writing to us or via email to: email@example.com You should return the goods within 28 (twenty eight) days at your expense, complete and with all the original packaging in an unused and unmarked condition. Free Postage Offers; products that are dispatched with free postage will be subject to a small re-stocking charge of 10% of the total value of your purchase to cover our original postage/carriage and packaging costs. Goods returned outside these timescales cannot be accepted. All returns will be inspected on our premises before any refund will be provided.
Warranties are as laid out by each individual manufacturer and are subject to slight differentials between those parties. Should you wish to see manufacturer warranty details you should contact the manufacturer direct. Door Automation Direct can provide you with contact details of any relevant manufacturer.

Under no circumstances (without prior written permission) are you to copy, reproduce, alter, publicise any of the above. You may download brochures, instruction manuals and advice information for the sole use of purchasing from Door Automation Direct only. Manufacturers own copyright rules apply on an individual basis for brochure downloads and instruction manuals. We closely track each visit for analysis purposes in order to further improve our site and our service to our customers. Any unauthorised copying of content materials whatsoever from this site will be subject to legal action being taken against you.
At Door Automation Direct we respect your privacy therefore; all personal information provided you will not under any circumstances be passed on to third parties for marketing purposes or otherwise. All personal information will be kept strictly confidential for our own records for future reference only. Any third party involvement such as the processing of credit card payments will require access to this information to process your orders; they do not have any authority to use your personal data for that other than performing their function.
